Interior Motives magazine hosted its fourth annual design conference at the Santo Stefano Hotel in Turin, Italy - the official World Design Capital 2008 - from June 17 to 19 this year. SWEDISH car maker Volvo ramping up the hype surrounding its low awaited new large SUV. The second generation XC90 is an important car for the firm, and it’s started the process by issuing pictures of the car’s interior. The new interior is clearly the most luxurious to have been designed for a Volvo, taking its inspiration from the country of Volvo's birth, Sweden, which has a reputation for integrating the latest technology with clean, unfussy design.
Nissan is recalling about 760,000 trucks in the United States and Canada to fix a faulty ignition relay. The recall covers the Nissan Titan and Frontier pickups and the Nissan Pathfinder, Xterra, Armada and Infiniti QX56 SUVs. The North American recall is part of a larger, global recall of 2.14 million vehicles by Nissan to fix the bad relay.
